Aggie and I were adventurous today. First we went shopping at the Friday Market (a once-a-week flea market) where Aggie bought a bikini, then we went on a bike ride up to the main town of Campomarino which is about three miles uphill from my condo.
The ride was great with some breathtaking views of Termoli, Campomarino, and the Adriatic Sea. After taking a few photos, we visited the grave of my Zio Aurelio, and went to a German supermarket (Lidl) known for their low prices. Then we had a downhill ride home that was exhilarating as cars would whip around us.
We got a late start today after heading into Termoli for the festival of San Basso yesterday evening. When we got back to Campomarino last night, we changed, hopped on the bikes, and rode to the end of town to watch the fireworks that took place at 12:15 a.m. in Termoli. From the beach in Campomarino, the fireworks were beautiful.
