Today for pranzo (lunch), I made a chicken sandwich. I
purchased some bread at a salumeria (market that specializes in lunchmeat), and
used some veggies I’d already cooked yesterday. I used zucchini con promodoro
(tomatoes), and also fagiolini (string beans) con pomodori. The bread was a
great vehicle for the veggies and pollo (chicken). It did, however, fall apart
as a sandwich but was good as like a toast flatbread would be.
