While at the festa of Santa Cristina, I partook in some
Italian street food. I had a panino kebab with tachino (turkey), pollo
(chicken), melanzane (eggplant), funghi (mushrooms), and pepperoni (peppers), I
also had a local delicacy sausage called torcinello. It is a liver and sage
sausage wrapped in vein tubes. Immediately some people would be turned off, but
that just means more for us in the know.
